ü     Awarded Project VOTE Voter Challenge “traveling” trophy to the Village of Hobart (spring election).

ü     Project VOTE co-chair Glen Tilot and member Scott Hildebrand met with Green Bay Press-Gazette News Advisory Board to report on goals and activities of Project VOTE.

ü     Project VOTE co-chair Jim Morrison addressed Teen Leadership for Green Bay Chamber of Commerce on importance of voting.

ü     Posed questions to State Superintendent of Public Instruction candidates Elizabeth Burmaster and Gregg Underheim and posted responses on Project VOTE Web site.

ü     Worked with Green Bay Chamber of Commerce to provide candidate training at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College on December 13.

ü     Annual presentation on Project VOTE to Leadership Green Bay’s Government Day.

§         Project VOTE Voter Challenge news conference April 11 is covered by the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Green Bay News-Chronicle and numerous Green Bay television and radio stations.

§         Green Bay Press-Gazette ran editorial March 31 headlined “Election information is just a click away.” Editorial encouraged voters to visit Project VOTE Web site and to also check out the superintendent of public instruction question-and-answer piece.

§         The Wheeler Report, a Web site devoted to Wisconsin government and politics, posted link to Project VOTE question-and-answer piece on the superintendent of public instruction election.

§         Project VOTE issued Feb. 3 news release headlined “Iraqi Voters set Example We Should Remember” after strong turnout in Iraqi election. Project VOTE also thanks the men and women of the U.S. armed forces for their role in bringing the opportunity to vote to the Iraqi people.
